By establishing architectural standards, mentoring engineering teams, and driving best practices, you will help build a modern data ecosystem that supports current and future business needs.\nWHAT YOU WILL DO…\nDesign and implement enterprise data solutions leveraging Databricks, Azure, and modern cloud data technologies.\nLead data engineering solution design utilizing Delta Lake and Medallion Architecture principles.\nGuide and mentor teams responsible for data modeling, ETL/ELT development, and data platform implementation.\nDefine and implement scalable data integration patterns and data movement strategies.\nEstablish, maintain, and evolve architecture standards, coding standards, and engineering best practices.\nImplement and enforce data security frameworks using Unity Catalog, role-based access controls (RBAC), data masking, row-level security, column-level security, and least-privilege access models.\nEnsure data quality, monitoring, auditing, lineage, and governance capabilities are implemented and maintained across data solutions.\nOptimize Apache Spark workloads, Delta tables, and SQL queries for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.\nReview technical designs and provide guidance to data engineers and development teams.\nCreate and maintain architecture documentation, technical standards, and reusable design patterns.\nPartner with stakeholders to ensure data solutions align with business objectives and enterprise architecture strategies.\nWHO YOU WILL WORK WITH…\nData Engineering teams responsible for building and maintaining data pipelines and data products.\nAnalytics, Reporting, and Business Intelligence teams leveraging enterprise data assets.\nEnterprise Architecture and Technology leaders to align solutions with organizational standards.\nData Governance and Security teams to ensure compliance, data protection, and governance requirements are met.\nBusiness stakeholders and product teams to understand data needs and deliver scalable solutions.\nCross-functional technology teams supporting cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and application integrations.\nWHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE… (MUST HAVE)\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.\n8+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Architecture, or related disciplines.\nStrong hands-on experience with Databricks, Apache Spark, Delta Lake, and Unity Catalog.\nExperience working with Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, and SQL-based data solutions.\nDeep understanding of Medallion Architecture, data warehousing concepts, and dimensional data modeling.\nExperience designing and implementing secure, governed enterprise data platforms.\nKnowledge of CI/CD practices, Git, automated testing frameworks, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).\nProven ability to troubleshoot, optimize, and scale large-volume data pipelines and data processing workloads.\nStrong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.\nDemonstrated ability to establish technical standards and mentor engineering teams.\nIT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU HAVE… (NICE TO HAVE)\nAzure and/or Databricks certifications.\nExperience with enterprise reporting and analytics platforms such as MicroStrategy and Power BI.\nExperience defining and implementing enterprise data architecture standards and governance frameworks.\nExperience supporting large-scale cloud modernization and data transformation initiatives.\nFamiliarity with enterprise-wide data quality, metadata management, and data lineage solutions.\nCompensation and Benefits:\nThe target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between\n$127,900-$175,900Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training.
