Employees must remain in position for a minimum of one year and successfully complete a 90-day evaluation period.\nHOW YOU WILL MAKE HISTORY HERE…\nAs a Packaging Operator, you will play a critical role in delivering safe, high-quality bakery products to our customers. You will support production, slicing, bagging, packaging, and material handling operations while ensuring compliance with food safety, quality, and operational standards. Your attention to detail, teamwork, and commitment to safety will help drive efficiency and product excellence throughout the manufacturing process.\nWHAT YOU WILL DO…\nOperate and monitor bagging, slicing, packaging, and related production equipment to meet product specifications and production requirements.\nSet up and adjust slicers, baggers, stackers, guides, paddles, flites, and related equipment to ensure product quality and operational efficiency.\nFeed products into production equipment and monitor slicing, packaging, coding, and case counts for accuracy and consistency.\nCase, rack, and un-rack products while maintaining required production line speeds.\nVerify proper product codes, lot traceability information, and packaging requirements for each product run.\nPerform product quality checks, ensuring products meet established specifications, appearance standards, and packaging requirements.\nMaintain proper formula control and follow all product specifications to ensure compliance with labeling and quality standards.\nSupport multiple production areas and rotate between various bakery, packaging, and production assignments as needed.\nAssist with equipment setup, changeovers, blade changes, troubleshooting, and operational adjustments.\nMove materials, racks, baskets, pan trucks, and other production equipment safely throughout the facility.\nComplete required communication logs, production documentation, and daily communication board updates.\nMaintain work areas in accordance with 5S standards and support housekeeping and sanitation initiatives.\nFollow all food safety, quality, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), HACCP, SOP, CTS, JSA, and workplace safety requirements.\nAssist other production team members and perform additional duties as assigned to support plant operations.\nWork overtime and flexible schedules as required to meet operational needs.\nWHO YOU WILL WORK WITH…\nProduction Supervisors\nBakery Production Team Members\nPackaging and Processing Operators\nSanitation Teams\nQuality Assurance Partners\nMaintenance Technicians\nPlant Leadership and Operations Teams\nYou will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure products are produced safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company quality standards.\nWHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE… (MUST HAVE)\nHigh school diploma, GED, or equivalent.\nAbility to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.\nStrong communication skills and sound decision-making abilities.\nAbility to follow detailed operating procedures, product specifications, and food safety requirements.\nUnderstanding of the importance of food safety, product quality, allergen control, and lot-code traceability.\nAbility to operate equipment safely and effectively after training.\nAbility to stand for extended periods of time.\nAbility to frequently bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, and reach throughout the workday.\nAbility to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly.\nAbility to safely move heavy loads using wheeled carts, racks, dollies, or pan trucks.\nAbility to work around moving mechanical equipment, industrial noise, temperature variations, and other manufacturing conditions.\nAbility to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow all safety requirements.\nAbility to work successfully in a team-oriented environment.\nFlexibility to work overtime and changing schedules as needed.\nCommitment to maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.\nIT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU HAVE… (NICE TO HAVE)\nTwo or more years of manufacturing, food production, bakery, packaging, or related industrial experience.\nExperience operating slicers, baggers, packaging equipment, or other automated production machinery.\nExperience working in a food manufacturing environment.\nKnowledge of HACCP, GMP, food safety programs, and quality systems.\nExperience performing equipment changeovers, setup, and basic troubleshooting.\nFamiliarity with production documentation, coding systems, and manufacturing processes.\nPrevious experience working in a high-volume production environment.\nDemonstrated ability to adapt quickly to changing production priorities and operational demands.\nIndividual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training.
