It is located in the Lekki Free Zone, Ibeju- Lekki, Lagos; near Dangote Refinery.\n\nWe are recruiting to fill the position below:\n\nJob Title: Analytical Chemist (Entry Level)\n\nLocation: Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos\n\nEmployment Type: Full-time\n\nEssential Duties & Responsibilities\n\nThese include, but are not limited to:\n\n Follow and ensure strict safety procedures and standards in the laboratory.\n\n Sample incoming raw materials and perform laboratory tests on the materials to ensure it meets specification before receipt into warehouse.\n\n Prepare reagents in line with the SOP and ensure the reagents are well labelled.\n\n Carry out physico-chemical analysis on in-process and finished products in line with defined standard operating procedure and ensure results are well documented in the QA records.\n\n Ensure Laboratory equipment’s, glass wares and work bench are well maintained\n\n Verify/calibrate/document laboratory equipment and ensure optimal performance\n\n Ensure routine auditing of laboratory stock chemicals and glass ware and submit report to QA Manager\n\n Ensure the laboratory meets good laboratory practice(GLP) standards\n\n Track and Monitor performance levels in all operations on Quality, Process and Equipment through collation, analysis and storage of relevant data and dissemination to the QA manager\n\n Prepare weekly and monthly quality reports and submit to the QA manager\n\n Comply and enforce PPE usage, issuance and replacement\n\nRequirements\n\n Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry or Industrial Chemistry graduate from any of the Nigerian Universities.\n\n Must have analytical skill and mind set\n\n Must be familiar with and able to handle basic laboratory equipment/apparatus\n\n Must have a good knowledge of Quality Assurance (ISO) and familiar with regulatory policies, standards/ specifications (NAFDAC, SON)\n\n Must be able to work effectively with minimal supervision and under pressure in order to release results on time\n\n Good PC skills and Knowledge of Microsoft packages essential for effective report writing.\n\n Must be flexible in approach to work and shift patterns.\n\nApplication Closing
