Must be able to work extended hours and additional days/evenings/weekends as required by responsibilities and school schedule. Must be able to attend and participate in meetings/conferences as scheduled within the district, state, and other states.\nMAJOR JOB DUTIES:\nMaintain current Class A license\nMaintain accurate student attendance records.\nMaintain accurate student progress records.\nMaintain classroom in a neat and orderly manner.\nAssure that effective teaching concepts are utilized.\nCoordinate and plan for daily instruction, ensuring proper utilization of equipment and students.\nPresent instruction in a professional, timely and accurate manner, consistent with school standards, operating procedures, and curriculum guidelines.\nBe prepared to instruct, supervise and monitor student actions in all phases of training and insure students’ compliance with program policy.\nInsure all instructional materials are appropriate for program taught and relay recommendations for change to immediate supervisor.\nEvaluate students daily, make formal evaluations on a regular schedule by utilizing appropriate academic and skills tests.\nDocument any student problems and maintain in student file.\nServe as a “Role Model” to the student as to dress, conduct and attitude.\nParticipate in professional organizations and attend meetings.\nMust maintain all certifications as required by Director.\nParticipate in staff meetings, in-service education, and selected professional growth meetings, training and activities.\nPerform such duties and assume such other responsibilities as may be required to accomplish the essential job functions as directed by the Director or Chief Program Instructor.\nPHYSICAL STANDARDS:\nMust meet all standards under FMCSR Part 391 -
