This role performs hands-on administrative and clerical duties that help ensure claims payments are prepared accurately and mailed in a timely manner.\nThe ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, able to work independently, and willing to assist with a variety of clerical and administrative tasks as needed.\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS\nAssist with the daily processing of printed claims checks and related materials.\nSort claims checks and supporting documentation accurately.\nFold and prepare printed claims materials for mailing.\nStuff envelopes and prepare completed mailings for distribution.\nHelp ensure claims materials are processed accurately and efficiently.\nMaintain an organized work area and handle documents with care.\nProvide general clerical and administrative support to the Accounting team as needed.\nAssist with filing, document organization, copying, scanning, and other routine office tasks as assigned.\nFollow established procedures and maintain appropriate confidentiality when handling company and claims-related information.\nQUALIFICATIONS\nAbility to work independently and follow established instructions and procedures.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.\nDependable with a strong work ethic.\nGood organizational and time-management skills.\nAbility to perform repetitive administrative tasks accurately and consistently.\nAbility to communicate effectively and work cooperatively with members of the Accounting team.\nBasic computer and general office skills are preferred.\nAbility to work 20 hours per week on-site Franklin, TN.\nPrevious accounting or claims experience is not required.\nWorking hours: 8:30am - 12:30pm Monday - Friday\nOn-site Franklin, TN\nIf you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.\nAbout Evernorth Health Services\nEvernorth Health Services, a division of The Cigna Group, creates pharmacy, care and benefit solutions to improve health and increase vitality.
