As a Counting Cell Technician, you will play a vital role in maintaining and optimizing our Automated Drug Dispensing System (ADDS). Your expertise will help ensure reliable medication dispensing, support operational efficiency, and contribute to delivering exceptional service to our customers.\nThis is a 2nd-shift position - Monday through Friday, 2:30pm-11:00pm,.\nResponsibilities\nIn this role, you will:\nMaintain the performance and reliability of automated drug dispensing equipment through preventive maintenance activities.\nDiagnose and resolve mechanical, operational, and system-related issues to minimize downtime and maintain productivity.\nPerform counting cell testing and validation to ensure equipment accuracy and quality standards are met.\nInvestigate equipment failures, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurring issues.\nExecute drug quarantine procedures in accordance with established quality and compliance requirements.\nCreate, update, and complete maintenance work orders with accuracy and attention to detail.\nContribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including Six Sigma and process enhancement projects.\nPartner with operations and maintenance teams to improve system performance, safety, and efficiency.\nSupport additional operational and technical needs as assigned.\nRequired Qualifications\nHigh School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.\n1+ years of experience operating, maintaining, or troubleshooting equipment in a manufacturing, production, distribution, or automated environment.\nPharmacy Technician Trainee License or Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) credential.\nDemonstrated ability to solve problems using analytical thinking and sound judgment.\nAbility to work independently with minimal supervision.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality.\nExcellent organizational and time management skills.\nAbility to lift up to 40 pounds.\nStrong commitment to safety, reliability, and operational excellence.\nPreferred Qualifications\nAssociate degree in a technical, engineering, manufacturing, or related field.\nExperience working with automated dispensing systems, packaging equipment, or high-volume filling equipment.\nElectrical, electronic, mechanical, or maintenance troubleshooting experience.\nExperience participating in Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement initiatives.\nKnowledge of pharmacy, healthcare, or regulated production environments.\nWhy Join Us?\nYou'll have the opportunity to develop technical expertise, contribute to meaningful process improvements, and work alongside a team dedicated to innovation, quality, and operational excellence.
