This role provides operational leadership across multiple specialised roles, ensuring high-quality, compliant, and timely maintenance of provider data across core platforms including PRM, PIMS, Globalcare, Actisure, Mainframe and Diamond.\nThe Supervisor translates strategic intent into clear execution, owns delivery against agreed SLAs and KPIs, embeds quality and control frameworks, and acts as the escalation point for complex data, quality, and operational risks. The role partners closely with Senior Managers, Business Owners, Technology, and Clinical stakeholders to ensure provider data remains accurate, complete, and fit for business and regulatory purposes.\nKey Accountabilities\n1. People Leadership & Capability Management\nProvide direct line management to:Data Integration Developers\nQuality Auditors - Provider Data Quality\nProvider Data Admin Assistants\n\nSet clear objectives, performance expectations, and development plans aligned to Data Enablement strategy.\nCoach, mentor, and upskill team members, ensuring strong technical capability, quality mindset, and role clarity.\nManage capacity planning and work allocation across teams to meet changing business priorities.\nLead performance interventions where required, including quality remediation, coaching plans, and escalation.\n2. Operational Delivery & Oversight\nOwn end-to-end delivery of provider data cleansing, validation, audit, and bulk update activities.\nEnsure adherence to documented operating procedures, controls, and data governance standards.\nMonitor delivery against agreed SLAs, turnaround times, and quality thresholds.\nAct as the primary escalation point for complex data issues, bulk update risks, or audit failures.\nEnsure appropriate segregation of duties between data execution, validation, and audit activities.\n3. Data Quality, Audit & Control\nEmbed robust quality assurance and audit frameworks across provider data activities.\nReview audit findings, trends, and root cause analysis; ensure corrective actions are defined and implemented.\nProvide oversight of Critical Data Elements (CDEs), ensuring accuracy, completeness, and consistency across systems.\nValidate readiness for audits, regulatory reviews, and internal assurance activities.\n4. Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Engagement\nPartner with Business Owners, Technology, Operations, and Clinical stakeholders to prioritise provider data work.\nTranslate business priorities into clear execution plans and team-level deliverables.\nProvide concise, risk-based updates to senior leadership on delivery status, issues, and mitigations.\nRepresent Data Enablement in cross-functional forums related to provider data, risk, and governance.\n5. Continuous Improvement & Automation\nIdentify opportunities to reduce manual effort through automation, tooling, and process optimisation.\nWork with Data Integration Developers to prioritise scalable bulk solutions and sustainable fixes.\nDrive standardisation of templates, controls, metrics, and reporting across teams.\nEmbed a continuous improvement culture focused on accuracy, efficiency, and risk reduction.\nKey Outputs & Measures of Success\nData quality metrics consistently meet or exceed agreed thresholds.\nOn-time delivery of prioritised cleansing, audit, and bulk update activities.\nReduction in repeat data defects and audit findings through effective root cause management.\nClear, timely, and transparent stakeholder communications.\nDemonstrable improvements in automation, efficiency, and control maturity.\nRequired Skills & Experience\nProven experience leading teams within data management, data quality, or operational excellence functions.\nStrong understanding of provider data domains and systems (PRM, PAS, Globalcare, Actisure, Diamond, Mainframe).\nExperience operating within governed, regulated, or audit-driven environments.\nAbility to balance hands-on operational oversight with strategic prioritisation.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.\nExcellent stakeholder management and written/verbal communication skills.\nPreferred Experience\nExperience within healthcare, insurance, or international health services environments.\nExposure to bulk data operations, ETL processes, or data integration tooling.\nFamiliarity with data governance frameworks, CDE management, and audit methodologies.\nExperience leading teams across multiple role types or disciplines.\nLeadership Expectations\nActs as a role model for quality, accountability, and ethical data management.\nCreates clarity where ambiguity exists and drives disciplined execution.\nOperates with confidence when managing risk, escalation, and senior stakeholder expectations.\nBuilds a high-performing, engaged, and resilient team culture aligned to IHDS values.\nAbout The Cigna Group\nCigna Healthcare, a division of The Cigna Group, is an advocate for better health through every stage of life.
