This role involves managing referrals, ensuring accurate data entry, and providing excellent customer service to patients and internal teams.\nSchedule: Monday-Friday, 10:30am-7pm ET (rotating weekend days and holidays)\nKey Responsibilities\nCollect and document referral information via fax, email or electronic medical record portal.\nAnswer incoming calls related to referrals.\nEnter new patient and referral source details into the system.\nNotify intake coordinator of pending referrals.\nAssist with phone communication and clerical tasks as needed.\nMaintain confidentiality and accuracy in all processes.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nSkills & Abilities\nStrong customer service focus and teamwork.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nProficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).\nOrganized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask.\nRequirements\nHigh school diploma or GED.\n1+ year of insurance verification, prior authorization, or related experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting.\nKnowledge of medical terminology.\nStrong computer skills and familiarity with MS Office.\nAbility to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.\nAs part of Evernorth Health Services, this role supports CarepathRx within \nour Pharmacy and Care Delivery organization.
