You’ll serve as a subject matter expert for key reporting tools and data while partnering across teams to continuously improve how information is delivered and used.\nThe ideal candidate is analytical, curious, comfortable navigating ambiguity, and able to translate complex information into clear, actionable recommendations.\nWhat You’ll Do:\nServe as a primary business partner and subject matter expert for assigned operational reports, tools, and analytics.\nAnalyze healthcare, underwriting, and operational data to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and actionable business insights.\nLead reporting and analytical initiatives that require collaboration across multiple teams and stakeholders.\nTranslate complex data and findings into clear recommendations for business partners and leaders.\nIdentify opportunities to enhance existing reports, dashboards, tools, and processes as business needs evolve.\nWork with large datasets from multiple sources and systems to support reporting and analysis.\nMonitor and validate data for completeness, accuracy, and quality.\nAnticipate business needs and proactively recommend analytical or reporting solutions.\nBuild strong partnerships across the organization and influence decisions through data-driven insights.\nQualifications:\n4+ years of experience within the healthcare industry.\nDirect underwriting knowledge or experience strongly preferred.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.\nDemonstrated ability to interpret data and translate findings into meaningful business insights.\nExperience working independently and successfully navigating complex or ambiguous business problems.\nStrong business acumen with the ability to quickly learn new business areas, processes, and projects.\nDemonstrated ability to lead initiatives and collaborate effectively across teams.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate analytical concepts to business stakeholders.\nAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills, including experience with pivot tables and VBA.\nWorking knowledge of at least one analytical or programming technology such as SQL, Python, SAS, or R.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience with workflow and data preparation tools such as Alteryx.\nWorking knowledge of Databricks and AI tools\nExperience developing or supporting dashboards and data visualizations using Power BI or Tableau.\nExperience working with large datasets, multiple data sources, and database management systems.\nExperience supporting underwriting, pricing, risk management, operational reporting, or healthcare analytics.\nIf you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 96,800 - 161,300 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.\nThis role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.\nAt The Cigna Group, you’ll enjoy a comprehensive range of benefits, with a focus on supporting your whole health.
