Launch your managed care career with a premier post-graduate 12 month residency focused on formulary strategy, development, and operational excellence. As a Formulary Solutions Pharmacy Resident, you will gain hands-on experience through immersive longitudinal rotations and enterprise-wide exploratory opportunities while contributing to clinical and strategic initiatives that impact Commercial, Custom, and Medicare formularies nationwide.
Program Highlights:
- Develop and present evidence-based formulary recommendations that influence coverage decisions for millions of members.
- Evaluate emerging therapies, clinical evidence, and market trends to support strategic decision making
- Translate clinical and analytical insights into actionable business solutions
- Partner with cross-functional teams to implement and evaluate formulary and utilization management strategies.
- Build confidence presenting complex clinical and formulary concepts to internal stakeholders and client audiences.
- Gain insight into the clinical, financial, and regulatory considerations that shape pharmacy benefit design and drug coverage decisions.
- Collaborate with experienced leaders and subject matter experts across the managed care landscape
- Strengthen leadership, project management, communication, and strategic thinking through real-world initiatives
- Gain exposure across key managed care functions including Clinical Product, Specialty Pharmacy, Advanced Utilization Management, Patent, Pipeline and Emerging Therapeutics, and Client Account Management.

Minimum Requirements:
- 4th year (Graduation year) or PharmD. degree from an ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy
- Pharmacy Licensure in any US State (within 90 days of residency start)
- Proficiency in Microsoft office, specifically Microsoft excel and PowerPoint
- Proficiency in written and verbal communications
- Strong career interest in Managed Care pharmacy

Location: Hybrid in Saint Louis, MO; Bloomington, MN; and Morris Plains, NJ. A hybrid position means that you will be expected to work in-person at your assigned office location more than 50% of time per week, with flexibility to work at home for balance of time. If the right candidate doesn’t live in one of those 3 areas, virtual will be considered.
If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.For this position, we anticipate offering an hourly rate of 22 - 37 USD / hourly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
