The role will collaborate across business, clinical, technology, product, and delivery teams to enable secure, bi-directional payer-provider data exchange, optimize EHR platforms, improve workflows, and translate approved initiatives into measurable outcomes.\nStrategic, Governance & Delivery Responsibilities:\nDefine the strategic intent, scope, target outcomes, risks, benefits, and product or capability strategy in partnership with business, clinical, product, and technology stakeholders.\nAssess current-state capabilities, workflows, systems, and operating models; identify gaps; and define the future-state business capabilities.\nLead cross-functional impact assessments and apply consistent evaluation criteria-including clinical and business value, regulatory requirements, feasibility, risk, dependencies, and organizational capacity-to prioritize opportunities against the existing portfolio and roadmap.\nDevelop lean business cases that articulate strategic alignment, expected value, costs, operational impacts, dependencies, risks, implementation considerations, and measures of success.\nTranslate opportunities into actionable plans with clear sponsorship, funding, requirements, delivery milestones, and success measures. \nLead the integration, implementation, and optimization of Epic Payer Platform and other EHR and interoperability capabilities that enable secure, reliable, and bi-directional data exchange between payer and provider.\nPartner across business, clinical, product, technology, and delivery teams to improve end-to-end workflows and ensure solutions align with data privacy, security, regulatory, and enterprise architecture standards.\nDevelop implementation, market readiness, and adoption strategies that help teams successfully use new capabilities.\nProvide end-to-end oversight from solution design through operational adoption by guiding decisions, managing dependencies and escalations, and resolving delivery risks. \nMaintain visibility into the interoperability initiatives and communicate priorities, decisions, progress, risks, and project synergies to stakeholders and leadership.\nRequired Qualifications\nSix or more years of experience in program management, business architecture, product strategy, business analysis, healthcare technology, or a related field. \nStrong business acumen and the ability to quickly learn business, clinical, regulatory, and technology domains.\nDemonstrated ability to lead through influence, build alignment across diverse stakeholders, and make progress through ambiguity and change.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, facilitation, presentation, and executive communication skills. \nProficiency with Microsoft Office. \nAbility to travel up to 10%. \nPreferred Qualifications\nBachelor's degree; an advanced degree such as an MBA, MHA, or MPH is a plus. \nExperience in a healthcare payer, provider, or healthcare technology organization. \nExperience with EHR platforms such as Epic, Oracle Health/Cerner, or athenahealth. \nExperience with process modeling tools such as IBM Blueworks Live or Microsoft Visio. \nAgile or project management certification.\nIf you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 116,100 - 193,500 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.\nThis role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.\nAt The Cigna Group, you’ll enjoy a comprehensive range of benefits, with a focus on supporting your whole health.
