They will play a key role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality software systems using the latest technologies and frameworks, with a focus on SAS-based product development and agile ways of working.\nResponsibilities\nGo to person as the technical lead for the end-to-end development of applications built on C#, .NET Core, and ASP.NET Web Forms.\nCreate technical designs rendering scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions that align with business objectives.\nEstablish best practices across full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, system design, implementation, testing, and deployment.\nProvide technical leadership, mentorship, and support to a team of developers.\nWork with Oracle or SQL Databases to design and optimize database interactions.\nDevelop user-friendly interfaces and responsive front-end components using Angular.\nLead the design and development of SAS-based products, ensuring alignment with business requirements.\nActively contribute in an Agile environment, participating in sprints, stand-ups, and retrospectives.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.\nEnsure deliverables meet quality and performance standards through agile best practices.\nTroubleshoot and resolve performance, scalability, and functional issues.\nMentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to the team.\nStay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in software development.\nRequirements\nExperience: Proven experience of 8+ years (with 3+ years as technical lead) of software development with a strong technical focus on C# and .NET Core.\nProficiency in ASP.NET Web Forms and building web-based applications.\nHands-on experience with Oracle or SQL Server, including query optimization and database design.\nStrong experience in SAS-based product development, including integration and deployment.\nProficiency in Angular or similar front-end frameworks.\nSolid understanding of software architecture and design principles.\nPrior experience working in an Agile development environment with knowledge of agile methodologies and ways of working.\nStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.\nExcellent communication and teamwork skills.\nExperience with cloud platforms like Azure or AWS.\nKnowledge of microservices architecture and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).\nExperience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.\nPrior experience in the health insurance domain is highly desirable.\nIndustry certifications are added advantage.\nBachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.\nAbout The Cigna Group\nCigna Healthcare, a division of The Cigna Group, is an advocate for better health through every stage of life.
