Design and architect solutions and understand automation best practices.\nSimplify processes whenever possible and ensure code quality by regularly monitoring data to identify and resolve problems before they impact business.\nImplement data pipelines, configure data, define table and column mapping, and create buckets in AWS environment to store files.\nConfigure buckets with various life cycle policies to archive the infrequently accessed data to storage classes based on requirements.\nBuild data warehousing solutions that facilitate ad-hoc querying and analytics on large volumes of structured and semi-structured data.\nDesign and optimize queries for complex data transformations and aggregations to support business intelligence and reporting requirements.\nImplement deployment automation using CICD tools. Design and implement robust, scalable, and high-performing end-to-end ETL pipelines.\nImplement performance tuning techniques, partitioning strategies, and caching mechanisms to enhance performance and efficiency of data processing workflows.\nBuild event-driven architecture to handle asynchronous data processing tasks, resulting in more resilient and scalable data workflows.\nMaintain SQL databases, creating tables, views, and stored procedures, and optimizing SQL queries to improve performance.\nManage scalable and reusable Terraform modules for consistent and efficient resource provisioning across multiple environments.\nHybrid work schedule.\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field and 5 years of experience in any software development role in the healthcare domain.\nMust have experience with: Data engineering and data warehousing including designing, building, and supporting scalable data solutions;\nRelational and analytical databases; Teradata Vantage; Databricks for scalable data engineering and for analytic workloads;\nCloud-based data platforms; AWS including S3, Glue, Lambda, SNS, and Cloudwatch; Cloud-native data architectures;\nSQL, Python, and Spark to support data transformation, automation, and analytics;\nApache airflow for workflow orchestration dependency management, and scheduling;\nInformatica for enterprise-grade data integration; Informatica for ETL processes; IaaS(Terraform) for data and application deployments, using industry standard automation tools;\nCI/CD practices for data and application deployments, using industry standard automation tools; Github; Jenkins;\nHealthcare domain including membership claims, and clinical data concepts; and,\nCollaborating across engineering, product, and business teams to meet deadlines and quality expectations.\nSalary Range: $163,821-$173,600/year\nIf you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 130,200 - 217,000 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.\nThis role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.\nAt The Cigna Group, you’ll enjoy a comprehensive range of benefits, with a focus on supporting your whole health.
