You will support client decision-making and improve processes through data insights, accuracy, and integrity.\nWhat You’ll Do\nUtilize data analysis to support strategic change initiatives, identify operational performance trends, and present value-add recommendations\nTranslate client objectives into clear, data-centered strategies, using non-technical language.\nAnalyze trends, clean and prepare datasets, and ensure data quality through peer Quality Assurance (QA) reviews\nSupport enterprise data integration efforts across all enterprise applications\nDesign and maintain data models to support enterprise analytics and reporting\nAssist with the development of enterprise data governance, reporting standards, frameworks, data definitions, and dashboard best practices\nDevelop compelling reports and presentations that effectively integrate data, business intelligence, and visualizations (including dashboards, charts, and graphs) to communicate insights\nPerform advanced coding in tools such as Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel, R, Python, and SQL\nDesign and implement intelligent workflows and solutions using tools like Zapier, Pickaxe, and Lovable, with a focus on integrating AI large language models (LLMs) into business processes and user-facing applications\nMaintain strong client relationships, support business development efforts, and expand project scopes by sharing insights on emerging trends and market developments\nLead and facilitate client meetings\nManage project lanes and tasks\nCompensation\nThe projected salary range for this position is between $85,000 and $110,000 annually. Actual compensation and starting salaries are determined based on various factors, including the candidate's education, experience, knowledge, skills, certifications, and clearance level, as well as internal equity. Once at The Clearing, movement through pay bands is based on performance. Base annual salary is just one component of The Clearing’s total compensation philosophy and approach. Please refer to our Careers Page online for a complete list of benefits.\nRequirements\n Active DoD Secret Clearance (or one that’s been active within the past two years)\nBachelor's degree, ideally in a technical, analytical, or social science field\n Four (4) + years of relevant experience, preferably in the management consulting industry or another client-facing environment\nDemonstrated expertise in data analysis, interpretation, and visualization for decision-making\nProficiency in analysis and presentation tools-Excel/Sheets, PowerPoint/Slides, Word/Docs; familiarity with Google Suite is a plus\nWorking knowledge of BI tools like Power BI, Qlik Sense, and Tableau\nFoundational knowledge and understanding of business data analysis and assessment to evaluate business opportunities, risks, and potential outcomes\nExperience in managing client relationships and delivering customer-focused solutions\nWillingness and ability to travel to and work at a client site in Alexandria, VA\nMust be legally eligible to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future\nDesired Skills/Experience:\nDesign thinking, change management, strategic planning, strategic communication, program management, and/or organizational design experience\nPMP and/or Prosci Change Management certification\nData analytics/engineering/science-related certifications\nPhysical and Mental Requirements\nWhile performing duties of this job, an employee may be required to perform any, or all of the following: attend meetings in and out of the office, travel (sometimes extensively); occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand; communicate effectively (both orally and in writing); ability to effectively use computers and other electronic and standard office equipment; and occasionally exerting up to 10 pounds to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
