The Specialist partners closely with the Client Implementation Engineers and internal stakeholders to support client engagements, facilitate discussions, and drive successful pre-onboarding outcomes.\nAbout The Clearing House: The Clearing House Payments Company L.L.C. is a bank-owned industry utility that shapes the payments landscape and provides infrastructure for safe, reliable, and efficient payments. The Clearing House operates four payment systems: a high-value wire-transfer system (the CHIPS® network), the country’s first and largest instant payments system (the RTP® network), an automated clearinghouse network (the EPN® network), and a check image exchange network (the Image Exchange Network). TCH also operates a bank account number tokenization service, runs a payments association known as the TCH Payments Authority, and maintains the rules for private-sector check image exchange through its ECCHO® business line.\nQualifications Required\nMinimum 3-5 years of experience in an operational, onboarding, implementation support, or client-facing role; banking or financial services background preferred\nStrong verbal and written communication skills\nExperience documenting operational processes and requirements\nDetail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and coordinate across internal and external stakeholders\nProficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word\nQualifications Desired\nDegree related to business, economics, or a related field\nExperience with payment products and financial services operations (e.g., RTP, ACH, wires, card networks)\nExperience working with third-party service providers or external partners\nStrong analytical and organizational skills\nAbility to think strategically and contribute to process improvement, standardization, and scalability initiatives\nEssential Functions and Responsibilities\nSupport pre-onboarding of new customers across TCH payment products by coordinating activities with banks, credit unions, and TPSPs\nServe as a primary point of contact during pre-onboarding, managing communication, scheduling, and progress tracking\nLead client-facing meetings to review pre-onboarding requirements, timelines, and next steps\nSupport discussions related to agreements, access requirements and client profile options\nAssist with agreements initiation and execution for new customers and partners\nSupport relationships with TPSPs and connectivity providers\nTrack pre-onboarding progress, identify risks or delays, and escalate issues to ensure timelines are met\nContribute to the development and standardization of pre-onboarding processes as the team expands to support additional TCH payment networks\nIdentify opportunities to improve efficiency and enhance the client pre-onboarding experience\nCoordinate with internal teams including Sales, CRM, Legal and Client Implementations to support pre-onboarding activities\nSupport post go-live activities, including client and TPSP follow-up, coordination of updates, and ongoing communication\nMonitor and report on participant counts, et al.\nContribute to Pre-Onboarding Team self-identified risk efforts\nPhysical Demands and Work Environment:\nThe working environment is generally favorable. Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment available. Candidates will report to the office three days each week.
