Join our team. #CloroxIsThePlace\nYour role at Clorox:\nThe Reliability Engineer will provide advanced knowledge and technical expertise to deploy continuous improvement in process and asset reliability through the detection and elimination of defects. In this role, you will contribute to deliver the optimization of equipment maintenance and technical aspects of reliability engineering strategies.In this role, you will:\nCoordinates Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) processes and tracks the implementation of recommendations through resolution.\n\nConducts Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and develops reliability strategies.\n\nReviews equipment specifications and standards and develops recommendations for reliability improvements.\n\nFormulates, implements, maintains, and audits Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Predictive Diagnostic Maintenance (PdM) programs.\n\nRecommends projects and/or studies and develops cost justification for reliability improvements\n\nParticipates in the development of criteria for and evaluation of equipment and technical MRO suppliers and technical maintenance service providers.\n\nContinues to improve the reliability tools and methods utilized in increasing plant reliability.\n\nEnsures proper spare parts inventory levels for sustaining equipment maintainability and availability.\n\nAdvises plant and corporate engineering on new capital designs and installations to ensure that equipment reliability, operability, and maintainability are preserved.\n\nParticipates in the final check out of new installations. This includes factory and site acceptance testing that will assure adherence to functional specifications.\n\nExecute the identification and elimination of bad actors and the optimization of equipment availability.\n\nParticipate in the development, design and installation of predictive maintenance programs and technology applications to identify and eliminate defects.\n\nPartner with and provide guidance to maintenance repairs and production in reliability related processes and the identification of critical spares.\n\nWhat we look for:\n5+ years of related work experience (i.e. reliability, maintenance engineering, manufacturing or related)\n\nBachelor's degree in Engineering\n\nSolid knowledge in the application of reliability tools such as Failure Mode and effects Analysis (FMEA), Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA), Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Predictive Diagnostic Maintenance (PdM)\n\nBeing proficient in Microsoft applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint\n\nExperience with SAP\n\nLean Six sigma green or black belt certification (preferred)\n\nWorkplace type:\nOnsiteOur values-based culture connects to our purpose and empowers people to be their best, professionally and personally.
