An advanced degree is an asset.\nYou have 3-5 years of experience in Data-adjacent role.\nYou have 3+ years of experience in data engineering with experience in building modern data platforms and data products, along with designing, developing and supporting data or software solutions.\nYou have 3+ years of experience implementing data solutions (Azure preferred).\nYou have advanced knowledge of data modeling, ETL processes, data warehousing concepts, and best practices in data engineering and analytics.\nYou have hands-on experience with the following technologies and concepts: Python, Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS) or equivalent data lake platforms, Azure Synapse SQL, Purview, OpenAI API Standard, Pandas/ Polars, REST APIs, Object Oriented Programming and Concurrent application design.\nHaving experience with AI services and LLMs would be considered an asset.\nHaving experience with Databricks and PySpark would be considered an asset.\nYou have a demonstrated ability to evaluate technical challenges, design scalable solutions, and translate business requirements into technical outcomes.\nYou have the ability to develop solutions from the prototype phase into a production-grade system.\nYou have excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.\nYou have excellent verbal and written communication skills with experience presenting to large and small audiences, with varying degrees of technical and business knowledge.\nThis position primarily works with majority non-francophone groups, and teams located outside of Québec, and requires proficiency in English.
