The Coca-Cola Company is an American beverage business founded in Atlanta in 1892 whose defining commercial decision was to sell concentrate to independent bottlers rather than to bottle and distribute drinks itself. That structure keeps the company's own capital employed low and its margins high while the bottling partners carry the trucks, plants and working capital, and it explains why the company periodically buys and then refranchises bottling operations. Its portfolio extends well beyond the original drink into Sprite, Fanta, Costa Coffee, Minute Maid, Powerade, Topo Chico and BodyArmor, and it is a component of the Dow Jones Industrial Average.

Job Description Summary:

At The Coca-Cola Company, we are transforming how digital technologies, AI, and advanced analytics redefine Quality & Food Safety for a globally connected beverage system. The Director, Digital Transformation - Quality & Food Safety will lead this evolution, partnering with global stakeholders to shape next-generation digital solutions, deliver impactful product roadmaps, and accelerate operational excellence across quality processes.

This position is ideal for an innovation-driven leader with deep expertise in enterprise-scale digital transformation and a strong understanding of Quality & Food Safety systems. The role offers the opportunity to influence global standards and deliver measurable outcomes that protect consumers and brands while positioning The Coca-Cola Company at the forefront of digital industrial transformation.

  • Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of digital products, driving Agile adoption, product ownership excellence, and continuous improvement across an integrated portfolio

  • Implement AI-powered and advanced analytics capabilities to enable predictive quality models, anomaly detection, early-warning systems, and real-time decision support

  • Develop and deliver integrated data platforms using Azure Data Services, Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and advanced visualization tools to ensure scalability and governance

  • Enable connected manufacturing and Quality 4.0 capabilities through OT and IT integration leveraging IoT frameworks, historian platforms, MES, and unified namespace architectures

  • Modernize and optimize Quality Management Systems and related platforms across domains such as HACCP, preventive controls, supplier quality, auditing, laboratory operations, and consumer complaints

  • Define success metrics for digital investments, ensuring measurable impact in compliance, quality performance, productivity, brand protection, and cost optimization

  • Foster a culture of digital fluency, experimentation, and continuous innovation, championing self-service analytics and training for global teams

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, influencing decisions through data-driven insights and strategic risk assessment

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Food Science, Information Systems, or Data Analytics; Master’s degree preferred

  • 10+ years of experience leading enterprise digital solutions, analytics platforms, or technology transformations at a global scale

  • Minimum 5+ years working with Quality, Food Safety, Manufacturing, or Regulatory operations in consumer packaged goods or related industries

  • Proven track record delivering large-scale digital transformation projects leveraging Agile and product delivery methodologies

  • Strong technical background in Microsoft Power BI, Azure Data Platform, and AI/ML solutions; experience with Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, or Lakehouse architectures a plus

  • Familiarity with Manufacturing OT systems, IoT solutions, historian platforms (PI, AspenTech, or similar), and integration of OT/IT environments

  • Knowledge of Quality & Food Safety frameworks (HACCP, FSMA, ISO 22000, GFSI) and experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS) implementation

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical concepts into business-relevant insights and influence at multiple organizational levels

  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and team leadership skills across global, cross-functional environments

  • Strategic thinker with strong business acumen and experience balancing innovation with compliance and risk management

What We’ll Do for You

  • Provide an opportunity to shape the digital future of Quality & Food Safety across one of the world’s most dynamic and complex beverage systems

  • Offer exposure to advanced digital platforms, AI capabilities, and Industry 4.0 technologies implemented at enterprise scale

  • Enable collaboration with senior leaders and global experts across technical, regulatory, and data science disciplines

  • Support growth and development with access to emerging technology projects, global transformation initiatives, and capability-building programs that influence the next generation of operational excellence
