Description Summary:\nRole and Major Responsibilities of Position\nCapital Portfolio and Site Master Planning:\nCoordinate the development and prioritization of the annual and long-range capital plan.\nLead and maintain the Site Master Plan, providing a roadmap for future capacity, infrastructure, technology, sustainability, compliance, and operational requirements.\nProject Initiation and Business Case Development:\nWork with the Business Sponsor and project owner to define the business need, strategic alignment, expected benefits, costs, risks, challenges, and options.\nCoordinate technical and financial feasibility studies before significant investment commitments are made.\nEnsure the Business Case remains the governing justification for the project throughout delivery.\nProject Charter and Scope Definition:\nDevelop and maintain the Project Charter following initial project approval.\nClearly document what is in scope and out of scope.\nDevelop and coordinate User Requirement Specifications with project owners and end users.\nQuantify the expected impact of projects where possible, including cost, productivity, capacity, headcount, utility consumption, quality, safety, or sustainability improvements.\nEngineering Design and Project Planning:\nCoordinate feasibility analysis, basic design, detailed design, and technical reviews.\nFinalize P&IDs, functional design specifications, layouts, equipment specifications, and other required engineering documentation.\nObtain final quotations and confirm budget requirements before execution.\nIdentify and analyse risks, assumptions, dependencies, constraints, and mitigation actions.\nProject Execution, Monitoring and Control:\nCoordinate construction, equipment installation, contractor activities, testing, and site integration.\nLead the multidisciplinary project team and ensure responsibilities, deliverables, and deadlines are clearly understood.\nCoordinate regular project reviews and provide accurate status reports to sponsors, steering teams, Finance, and plant leadership.\nFinancial and Commercial Management:\nPrepare project cost estimates, capital forecasts, cash-flow plans, financial justifications, and funding requests.\nEnsure that expenditure takes place only after appropriate authorization.\nControl project commitments, purchase orders, invoices, accruals, forecasts, and capitalization.\nEnsure commercial dealings are competitive, transparent, ethical, and properly documented.\nSafety, Quality, Environment and Food Safety:\nIntegrate occupational safety, environmental, food safety, hygiene, quality, and security requirements into every phase of the project.\nEnsure designs comply with CPS engineering requirements, legal obligations, hygienic-design principles, and applicable Company standards.\nEnsure contractors are appropriately selected, inducted, trained, supervised, and manufacturing projects.\nManages a capital portfolio that may amount to approximately US$13 million annually, subject to the approved Business Plan.\nManages multiple projects of varying complexity, value, risk, and operational impact.\nEvaluates project options and supplier proposals based on technical compliance, safety, quality, cost, timing, capability, and total cost of ownership.\nMaintains financial control over budgets, commitments, expenditure, forecasts, project changes, and capitalization\nMinimum Requirements for Position:\nBachelor’s degree in mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Chemical, Industrial, Process Engineering, or another relevant engineering discipline.\nProven experience in engineering and maintenance within a manufacturing environment.\nTechnical Skills in mechanical, electrical & civil engineering\nMore than 5 years’ experience as a Project Engineer Mechanical /Electrical/ Industrial / Chemical.\nWorking knowledge of safety measures and ISO related
