If you are detail-oriented, safety-focused, and passionate about sustainability, this role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic production environment.\nWhat You’ll Do for Us\nOperate a variety of recycling equipment and compactor systems to process materials including plastics, paper, and cardboard\nPerform routine checks to ensure reliable performance of recycling and related manufacturing equipment\nIdentify and resolve minor technical or mechanical issues to maintain operational continuity\nMaintain compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards, including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and permit requirements\nEnsure all work areas are clean, organized, and free from hazards to support safe operations\nAccurately document and maintain records on recycling activity, equipment performance, and compliance measures\nSegregate recyclable materials effectively within production and compactor areas for proper handling\nSupport emergency response activities related to waste management and recycling initiatives\nParticipate in project assignments to enhance sustainability practices and process improvements\nObtain and maintain all required certifications, including forklift and genie boom operator credentials, within the established timeframe\nDemonstrate accountability and readiness to lead within assigned responsibilities by recommending opportunities for operational improvement\nRequirements & Qualifications\nHigh school diploma or GED\nPrior experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred with ability to operate and maintain production equipment\nForklift operator certification desirable; must attain forklift and genie boom certifications within required period\nAbility to work independently on tasks with minimal supervision while meeting safety and quality standards\nPhysical capability to climb, bend, kneel, twist, and lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.\nStrong attention to detail with the ability to read and interpret equipment manuals, basic diagrams, and standard operating procedures\nMechanical aptitude with the capability to troubleshoot and perform basic maintenance after training\nFlexibility to work 12-hour shifts, night schedule on a 2-2-3 rotation, and additional hours or on-call assignments as needed\nProficiency in English with the ability to understand written and verbal instructions\nCommitment to complete all role-related certifications within defined deadlines\nWhat We’ll Do for You\nOffer hands-on training and learning opportunities to grow your technical skills in recycling operations and sustainable manufacturing\nProvide access to modern equipment and technologies that support both safety and efficiency in your role\nEnable you to contribute to Coca-Cola’s sustainability agenda and environmental stewardship initiatives within a dynamic production setting\nDevelop your ability to manage projects and continuous improvement efforts that directly impact operational performance and community well-being\nThe Coca-Cola Company will not offer sponsorship for employment status (including, but not limited to, H1-B visa status and other employment-based nonimmigrant visas) for this position.
