The ideal candidate is a hands-on Electrical Engineer with a strong background in electronic hardware development, connected devices, and communication technologies. Experience with industrial communication protocols and related industries will be highly valued.

What You’ll Do for Us

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to develop innovative technologies, connected solutions, and new product platforms.
  • Work closely with manufacturing teams to ensure smooth product industrialization, design for manufacturability (DFM), and successful product launches.
  • Investigate and triage field issues, identify defect patterns, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to improve product performance and reliability.
  • Ensure continuity of supply and technical support for the current product portfolio, maintaining product quality, cost competitiveness, and operational performance.
  • Drive productivity initiatives across suppliers, manufacturing partners, and internal teams, identifying opportunities to optimize cost, quality, and supply chain performance.
  • Support technical planning and execution of business initiatives, ensuring engineering activities are aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Support product and hardware quality by ensuring compliance with technical standards, company specifications, and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Review prototypes, validate design improvements, and coordinate implementation activities with manufacturing partners and suppliers.
  • Collaborate with suppliers in the specification, qualification, and continuous improvement of electronic components and hardware assemblies.
  • Provide technical leadership on hardware architecture, design reviews, validation plans, and engineering best practices.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
  • 10+ years of experience in electronic hardware development, preferably for connected products, embedded systems, industrial equipment, IoT devices, automotive, consumer electronics, automation, or related industries.
  • Proven experience developing electronic hardware from concept through production release.

  • Knowledge of industrial and embedded communication protocols such as CAN, Modbus, RS-485, Ethernet, BLE, Wi-Fi, Zigbee, LoRa, MQTT, or similar technologies is highly desirable.
  • Experience working with manufacturing teams to support product industrialization and production readiness.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead technical projects and deliver results in cross-functional environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including field failure investigation and root cause analysis.
  • Excellent project management, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience managing suppliers, technical partners, and engineering development activities.
