The company connects sellers - from small businesses to global brands - with customers, offering a vast product selection, fast delivery, and a well-crafted shopping experience.\nDesigning a vertical-specific user experience for the automotive category as part of company’s key strategic initiative, aimed at transforming the platform from a general-purpose marketplace into a collection of specialized “stores within a store.”\nThe role:\nThe role is primarily backend-focused (approx. 60% of the workload), while also involving active frontend development using components (approx. 40%).\n\nDevelop and enhance the automotive vertical experience as part of a key strategic initiative focused on creating specialized marketplace experiences.\n\nDesign, build, and maintain scalable backend services and REST APIs using Java/Kotlin and Spring Boot.\n\nDevelop frontend features using React and TypeScript, working with existing components and Microfrontend architecture.\n\nDesign and maintain distributed, microservices-based solutions, with a strong focus on code quality, testing, performance, and reliability.\n\nWork with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), SQL and NoSQL databases, including MongoDB.\n\nBuild and maintain technical and business monitoring for developed products and features.\n\nUse AI-assisted development tools, such as GitHub Copilot, OpenCode, and other agentic coding solutions, as part of your daily development workflow.\n\nCollaborate with engineers, product teams, and other stakeholders to deliver new features and continuously improve the platform.\n\nRequirements\nAbility to effectively use AI-assisted development tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot, OpenCode, or other agentic coding tools) as part of the day-to-day software development workflow.\nBackend\nStrong proficiency in Java and Kotlin, with experience in building scalable backend applications.\n\nStrong knowledge of Spring Boot for developing modern applications and REST APIs.\n\nStrong focus on code quality, testing, and application performance, as well as the ability to build both technical and business monitoring for developed products.\n\nExperience in designing, implementing, and maintaining distributed microservices-based architectures.\n\nHands-on experience with GitHub Copilot, OpenCode, or other agentic coding tools.\n\nFrontend\nStrong proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript.\n\nGood knowledge of React and its ecosystem for building user interfaces.\n\nSolid understanding of semantic HTML5 and the ability to create responsive layouts using CSS.\n\nPractical knowledge of building accessible web applications in line with WCAG standards.\n\nNice to have:\nHands-on experience working with cloud platforms, with a particular focus on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).\n\nBasic knowledge of both relational (SQL) and NoSQL databases, with a particular focus on MongoDB.\n\nPractical knowledge of SQL.\n\nExperience working with Microfrontend architecture.\n\nRecruitment process:\n30-minute screen with our recruiter, Justyna\n\nTechnical Verification Meetings\n\nStakeholder meeting\n\nOffer\n\nQuestions, insights?
