What awaits you is an enriching and collaborative environment that fosters your growth at every step.\nProject Description:\nIn this role, you’ll develop and maintain Java-based services and REST APIs, collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, and contribute to system architecture with a strong focus on reliability, security, and code quality. You’ll also take part in the full software development lifecycle, including CI/CD processes, automated testing, code reviews, and production support.\nPlease note: this is a hybrid position, you will be expected to come into the office 6-8 days per month overall (the office is located in Kraków).\nRequirements\nYour Responsibilities:\nDevelop and maintain Java backend services, REST APIs, and microservices\n\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions\n\nSupport production systems, resolve incidents, and troubleshoot issues\n\nContribute to system architecture focused on performance and reliability\n\nWork in Agile teams using CI/CD, automated testing, and code reviews\n\nMaintain technical documentation and improve engineering practices\n\nAct as a technical SME for application and support-related topics\n\nIdentify and manage risks, dependencies, and delivery blockers\n\nKey Requirements:\nAdvanced English in speaking and writing\n\nStrong commercial experience with Java (8+/11+/17+/21) and Spring Boot\n\nHands-on experience with REST APIs, microservices, and SQL databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle)\n\nFamiliarity with React, MQ/Solace, Redis, and Kubernetes\n\nExperience with CI/CD, Git, Maven/Gradle, and DevOps tooling\n\nKnowledge of monitoring and observability tools (Grafana, Splunk, Prometheus, Jenkins, etc.)\n\nUnderstanding of application security and testing practices\n\nExperience working in Agile / DevOps environments\n\nStrong communication skills and ability to work across distributed teams\n\nSelf-driven, customer-oriented, and comfortable owning tasks end-to-end\n\nRecruitment process:\n30 minute screening call online with our recruiter\n\n1 hour screening call online with our developer\n\n1 hour technical call with the client\n\n30 minute call with the team leader\n\nOffer\n\nQuestions, insights?
