What awaits you is an enriching and collaborative environment that fosters your growth at every step.\nProject Description:\nWe are looking for a skilled and self-sufficient IBM Integration Specialist at Mid or Senior level to join an international project in the banking and financial services sector.\nThe project focuses on the development, maintenance and support of an enterprise integration platform used by a major financial organisation in Germany. The environment is based on IBM technologies, including IBM App Connect Enterprise, IBM MQ and IBM Sterling Transformation Extender. ITX is used to support complex data transformation and validation between different systems and data formats.\nThe role combines production support, integration development, technical troubleshooting and implementation of change requests. Some integrations are deployed in containerised environments, including Kubernetes.\nYou will work as part of a distributed, international team and collaborate with application owners, infrastructure teams and service delivery stakeholders. We are looking for professionals who can work independently, take ownership of their tasks and contribute to the stability and continuous improvement of the integration platform.\nRequirements\nYour Responsibilities:\nDesign, develop and maintain integrations between business systems and enterprise applications.\n\nCreate, configure and support message flows using IBM App Connect Enterprise / IBM Message Broker.\n\nWork with IBM MQ, including queues, channels, messages and troubleshooting of message flow issues.\n\nCreate and maintain data transformation maps in IBM Sterling Transformation Extender, where applicable.\n\nIntegrate systems using different message formats, interfaces and data exchange standards.\n\nAnalyse integration errors, logs and messages to identify root causes and implement solutions.\n\nSupport changes across development, testing and production environments.\n\nSupport integrations deployed in Kubernetes-based environments.\n\nUse Python to create scripts for automation, operational support, testing or monitoring purposes.\n\nWork with DB2 databases and write or analyse SQL queries.\n\nUse GitHub and Jenkins for version control, automation and deployment processes.\n\nCollaborate with technical teams, application owners and service delivery stakeholders.\n\nPrepare and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures and integration-related materials.\n\nParticipate in requirements analysis, task estimation and change planning.\n\nSupport the team in troubleshooting complex technical issues and ensuring platform stability.\n\nContribute to L3-level technical support and continuous service improvement.\n\nKey Requirements:\nAt least 3-4 years of commercial experience in systems integration or IBM integration technologies.\n\nPractical experience with IBM Message Broker or IBM App Connect Enterprise, preferably version ACE 12.\n\nExperience with IBM MQ.\n\nExperience with IBM Sterling Transformation Extender / IBM ITX, preferably version 11.\n\nWorking knowledge of Python for scripting and task automation.\n\nKnowledge of SQL and experience working with DB2.\n\nBasic knowledge of Unix/Linux environments.\n\nExperience with GitHub and Jenkins.\n\nAbility to work independently and take ownership of tasks from analysis through implementation or handover to support.\n\nBusiness-fluent English, both written and spoken.\n\nWillingness to travel occasionally to Germany for meetings, workshops or onboarding activities.\n\nNice to have\nExperience integrating systems in the banking or financial services sector.\n\nPractical experience using IBM ITX as a component or plugin within an IBM App Connect Enterprise environment.\n\nExperience supporting production integrations and handling incidents.\n\nRecruitment process:\n30 minute screening call online with our recruiter, Justyna\n\n1h technical interview\n\n1h client interview\n\nOffer\n\nQuestions, insights?
