What awaits you is an enriching and collaborative environment that fosters your growth at every step.\nWe are currently looking for:\nSENIOR DATA ENGINEER\nHere, you will have an opportunity to contribute to a banking platform for one of Japan’s leading financial groups. The platform includes banking modules, data management features, and customer-facing applications. The Data Flow Team supports the Fund Administration domain, integrating internal, vendor-hosted, and third-party systems. Data flows are triggered by specific rules or events, with frequencies ranging from every ten minutes to monthly.\nRequirements\nKey Responsibilities:\nDesigning and implementing data processing pipelines based on business and technical requirements, including data transformation, validation, and mapping.\n\nBuilding and maintaining integrations between various data sources and destinations, including APIs, SQL databases, S3 buckets, and SFTP servers.\n\nDeveloping and modifying existing ETL workflows and data flows.\n\nProcessing and synchronizing data across different systems and formats.\n\nConducting comprehensive testing and validation to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and reliable delivery.\n\nProviding post-deployment support and troubleshooting data integration issues.\n\nCollaborating with business stakeholders to gather requirements and support production processes when needed.\n\nRequirements (skills & experience):\nAdvanced English skills, both spoken and written, for collaboration within an international team.\n\n5+ years of hands-on experience with ETL tools and data engineering processes in a professional environment.\n\nStrong SQL skills and experience working with databases and data integration workflows.\n\nCommercial experience with Python for data processing and scripting.\n\nExperience designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines across multiple sources and destinations.\n\nAbility to understand complex data flows, coding structures, and logical workflows.\n\nExperience collaborating with developers and business stakeholders in an international environment.\n\nHigh attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and reliability.\n\nStrong communication skills and the ability to engage with stakeholders at different organizational levels.\n\nNice to have:\nExperience with Apache NiFi for building and maintaining data flows.\n\nFamiliarity with Databricks, particularly for implementing new data integrations.\n\nExperience with cloud-based data storage and services, including AWS S3.\n\nRecruitment process:\nScreening call (30 min)\n\nTechnical interview (60 min)\n\nInterview with the Team Leader (60 min)\n\nOffer\n\nQuestions, insights?
