The company connects sellers - from small businesses to global brands - with customers, offering a vast product selection, fast delivery, and a well-crafted shopping experience.\nProject Name: Delivery Optimization Engine (DOE)\nWe are looking for support of Senior Software Engineer specializing in Python and routing algorithms. The specialist will be responsible for\nsupporting the design and scaling of high-throughput services that power our first and last-mile operations. By leveraging network analysis and spatial optimization, the specialist will assist in building the next generation of company’s Delivery Optimization Engine (DOE) and directly enhancing our logistics efficiency.\nModern Tech Stack: We are bypassing traditional, legacy GIS software in favor of cloud-native Python architectures, Big Data solutions, and modern routing APIs (e.g., Google, HERE, open-source routing engines).\nThe role:\nBackend & Routing: Python, Microservices, Open-source & Commercial Routing Engines.\n\nData & Cloud: Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, Dataflow Composer/Airflow), SQL.\n\nInfrastructure: Kubernetes,Terraform, CI/CD pipelines.\n\nRequirements\nAt least 4 years of commercial experience in backend software development using Python and SQL.\n\nPossess experience or a strong understanding of the logistics domain, network analysis, and routing (e.g., graph theory, road network modeling, Vehicle Routing Problems).\n\nExperience with geospatial data concepts applied via code (e.g., H3/spatial indexing, clustering algorithms, PostGIS).\n\nBe familiar with cloud ecosystems (Google Cloud Platform preferred) and modern infrastructure tools (Kubernetes, Terraform, Airflow).\n\nAdvocate for engineering excellence, including clean code, TDD, CI/CD, and a strong commitment to rigorous code reviews to maintain team architectural stability.\n\nKnow how to design and scale a microservices-based architecture.\n\nA positive attitude, excellent teamwork skills, and a higher technical education (Computer Science or related fields).\n\nEnglish level min.
