What You'll Do:\nGuest Experience & Wine Service\nDeliver warm, welcoming, and personalized hospitality to every guest.\nRecommend, present, and serve wines in accordance with Sorelle's service standards.\nGuide guests through menu and wine selections with confidence and expertise.\nAnticipate guest preferences, dietary needs, and special requests.\nMonitor guest satisfaction and proactively resolve service opportunities.\nSupport VIP experiences and special dining events.\nDining Room Operations\nMaintain an organized, polished, and guest-ready dining room environment.\nSupport overall service flow and operational excellence.\nAssist with greeting, seating, food delivery, and tableside service as needed.\nEnsure consistent execution of food, beverage, and hospitality standards.\nCollaborate closely with Front and Back of House teams to deliver seamless service.\nWine Program Management\nMaintain wine cellar organization and inventory accuracy.\nEnsure proper storage, rotation, and quality of all wine products.\nContinuously expand knowledge of the wine list, menu offerings, and industry trends.\nTraining & Leadership\nLead wine education and product knowledge training for the service team.\nTrain and mentor new team members during onboarding.\nParticipate in pre-shift meetings and menu education sessions.\nSupport leadership efforts in coaching, developing, and elevating team performance.\nRequired Qualifications\n3-4 years of fine dining or sommelier experience.\nAdvanced knowledge of wine, food pairings, and fine dining service.\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills.\nAbility to confidently describe menu offerings and make thoughtful recommendations.\nStrong organizational skills and attention to detail.\nProficiency with POS systems and Microsoft-based applications.\nProfessional appearance and adherence to grooming standards.\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.\nMust meet the legal age requirement to serve alcohol.\nPreferred Qualifications\n5+ years of progressive dining room experience.\nCourt of Master Sommeliers Level II Certification.\nExtensive food and wine knowledge with a passion for continuous learning.\nDemonstrated leadership and mentoring experience.\nPhysical Requirements\nAbility to regularly lift and carry up to 30 pounds.\nAbility to push or pull equipment with assistance.\nAbility to bend, reach, and work efficiently in confined service areas.\nAbility to work in varying temperatures, including kitchen and storage environments.\nContinuous visual, verbal, and auditory engagement required for guest interaction and service execution.\nReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.\n_______________________________________________________________________________\nBHC is an equal employment opportunity employer.
