We're looking for a Procurement Specialist to help us deliver them.\nYou'll manage a varied portfolio of tenders across categories, working alongside our Strategic Procurement Managers. You'll be the go-to person for best-practice tender advice, creating strong documentation, running a clean process and making sure everything complies with the Procurement Act 2023. It's a role for someone who enjoys variety and wants their work to make a difference.\nWhat you'll be doing\nManaging a portfolio of procurement projects that are fair, transparent, proportionate and compliant\n\nHelping shape sourcing strategies, including routes to market and lotting, with creative, value-for-money ideas\n\nMaking sure we've considered how to lower barriers for SMEs\n\nDeveloping and reviewing tender documentation, and running the tender query process with a full audit trail\n\nAdvising and supporting project managers who run smaller \"self-service\" tenders\n\nKeeping our procurement pipeline accurate and up to date with stakeholders\n\nSupporting larger, strategic procurements, including moderations, presentations and bidder dialogue sessions\n\nTaking oversight of selected key contracts and helping colleagues apply the terms correctly\n\nBuilding sustainability and social value into procurements, and improving our tender processes as you go\n\nApplying procurement governance so our decisions are auditable and audit-ready\n\nWhat we're looking for\nExperience managing end-to-end procurement across a range of categories, ideally using e-tendering software\n\nA strong grasp of public sector procurement and Public Procurement Regulations\n\nExcellent organisational skills, attention to detail and numeracy\n\nClear written and verbal communication, including the ability to deliver training\n\nA solution-focused approach and a willingness to innovate and improve processes\n\nCIPS qualified or working towards it is desirable\n\nWhy join us:\nYou'll get a varied portfolio, expert colleagues and room to grow.
