As Thermal analysis engineer, you will be in charge of the thermal modeling and simulations to support the design definition and justification of the vehicle. You will work closely with our mechanical, CAD, avionics and mechanism engineers to optimize together the vehicle design, thermal architecture and performance. You will be part of the Nyx Thermal and ECLSS Team and will report to the Space Vehicle Thermal Team Leader.\nKey Responsibilities\nIn your capacity as a Thermal analysis engineer, your role will be continuously evolving, but day to day your duties will include:\nTo generate the thermal and fluids models, with the right level of complexity depending on the maturity and the goals of the study,\n\nTo determine the thermal load cases through the entire system lifecycle,\n\nTo provide technical solutions on optimizing the design and the spacecraft thermal management, in collaboration with other subsystems,\n\nTo contribute to co-engineering sessions with various teams and suppliers to ensure the technical consistency and design optimization,\n\nTo support the test campaign preparation: test plan definition, exploitation for simulation comparison and correlation,\n\nTo contribute to the creation and improvement of the thermal analysis tools ,\n\nTo contribute to the validation and verification of the requirements,\n\nTo effectively communicate and provide recommendations through the analyses, preparation, and presentation of technical data,\n\nTo prepare the technical documentation and participate to design reviews.\n\nWhat we would love to see from you\nQualifications\nAdvanced degree (Master of Science or PhD) in aerospace engineering, heat transfer and fluid mechanics, or another related field,\n\nAt least 4 years of experience in thermal analysis,\n\nGood knowledge of thermal management for both active and passive thermal control systems,\n\nDeep knowledge of thermal and fluid analysis,\n\nExperience with several thermal software (Thermal Desktop, ESATAN, Systema),\n\nExperience with programming (Python, Matlab...),\n\nExperience with CFD analysis is a plus,\n\nFluent in English.
