Summary:\nThe Job Preparation and Placement Coordinator is responsible for preparing clients to apply and interview for specific unsubsidized employment opportunities and, working in close collaboration with the Job Developers and Employer Strategy Teams, matching qualified job seekers with available positions.\nWhat You'll Do\nServe as point of contact for employers identified by the Job Developer and the Strategic Sector Leads.\n\nIdentify and prepare appropriate clients to be interviewed for specific job vacancies.\n\nEnsure that all job orders are filled in a timely manner.\n\nProvide intensive individual coaching to clients in job search.\n\nMitigate issues that arise between newly hired clients and employers, and counsel newly hired clients as necessary.\n\nConduct cold calls as necessary to employers with the express purpose of identifying businesses that currently hiring and establishing relations with those who are not for later follow-up.\n\nMatch a minimum of 20 participants per month into unsubsidized job placements by placing VRS participants into part time and of full-time employment of 20 hours minimum and wage no less than the approved minimum wage.\n\nFollow up with VRS participants and employers, if necessary, within one day of referring them to an interview.\n\nDesign and create recruitment strategies, job fairs, on site employer visits, met the manger days and cyber info sessions for internet job search and companies that operate and scree through automated methods.\n\nAnnounce job leads weekly in workshops and work closely with work-readiness instructors on follow ups with consumers referred to interviews.\n\nWork closely with retention unit to ensure all employment data is documented accurately in the HRA SEAMS system and FedcapCARES.\n\nYou're a great fit for this role if you have:\nA bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in social work, education orrelated field.\n\nMinimum of two (2) years of relevant experience in counseling, coaching, staffing, human\n\nresources or workforce development.\n\nExperience working with at-risk clients with barriers to employment strongly preferred.\n\nCompensation\n$24.04-$25.97/hr./$50k-$54k annually\nEqual Opportunity
