Student Support Coordinator plays a vital role in helping students remain engaged, overcome challenges, and successfully complete their training programs.\nServing as one of the primary points of contact after enrollment, you'll work closely with students, instructors, and school leadership to monitor attendance, support academic progress, coordinate interventions, and connect students with the resources they need to graduate and begin successful careers.\nThis is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, solving problems, and making a lasting impact on students' lives.\nKey Responsibilities\nMonitor student attendance, academic progress, and overall engagement.\nIdentify at-risk students through attendance and progress reports.\nMeet individually with students to develop success and retention plans.\nConduct outreach to students experiencing attendance or academic challenges.\nSupport students returning from leaves of absence.\nCollaborate with instructors, department heads, and administrators to remove barriers to student success.\nServe as a liaison between students, faculty, and school leadership.\nConnect students with internal and external support resources.\nMaintain accurate documentation of student interactions and interventions.\nAssist with student engagement activities, retention initiatives, graduation planning, and recognition events.\nMaintain confidential student records and ensure compliance with school policies.\nSupport departmental projects and administrative initiatives.\nParticipate in required professional development and training.\nRepresent Apex Technical School with professionalism and exceptional customer service.\nQualifications Required\nHigh School Diploma or GED\n1-3 years of experience in student services, education, advising, customer service, case management, or a related field\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills\nExcellent organizational and time-management abilities\nAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment\nProfessional judgment and ability to maintain confidentiality\nProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite\nPreferred\nAssociate's or Bachelor's degree\nExperience working in a technical, vocational, career, or post-secondary school\nExperience with Google Classroom, Zoom, or Microsoft Teams\nWhat
