Join us at Easterseals Rhode Island for a rewarding job opportunity as a Training Specialist.\nWhat You'll Do\nAs a Training Specialist you will report to the Director of Quality Assurance and will be responsible for identifying, developing, coordinating and facilitating staff and client training programs designed to enhance operational efficiencies and program outcomes.\nYour Responsibilities Will Include:\nDesign, administer, analyze and report the results of staff and client training needs assessments.\nDevelop, coordinate and facilitate staff training programs in response to the results of training needs assessments, as well as internal and external audits. \nResearch, identify and recommend external trainers and training curriculum in response to identified staff and client training needs.\nHost all external trainers and training events. \nDevelop training evaluation instruments to measure and assess the impact of staff training on operational efficiencies and program effectiveness. \nCarry out special program development projects, as directed.\nYou're a great fit for this role if you have:\nA baccalaureate degree from an accredited college in teaching, curriculum development, human resources development, or a related field of study. A master’s degree in one of these fields is preferred.\nNot less than three (3) years of satisfactory full-time teaching or training experience, of which at least 1 year must have included curriculum research and development. \nExtensive public speaking, moderation and group facilitation experience. \nExperience working with public assistance recipients, the homeless, formally incarcerated people, and/or those affected by the challenges associated with poverty.\n\nWho We Are\nEasterseals Rhode Island provides services for individuals with IDD who are referred through the RI Bureau of Behavioral Healthcare, Developmental Disabilities and Hospitals (BHDDH) and the Office of Rehabilitative Services (ORS).
