Your attention to detail and follow-through will help keep purchasing activities organized and give internal teams and trade partners the information they need.\nYou Will Thrive in This Role If You…\nTake a detail-focused approach to maintaining purchasing, vendor, pricing, and payment information.\nCommunicate clearly and professionally with trade partners and internal partners across field management, estimating, accounting, and purchasing.\nInvestigate questions using available information and help identify practical, solution-focused next steps.\nStay organized while managing recurring reports, administrative work, and requests that vary by task and timing.\nUse sound judgment, discretion, and confidentiality when handling work-related information.\nWork comfortably with office productivity applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint or Google equivalents.\nThese skills will be used to:\nSupport Senior and Lead Purchasing Coordinators with assigned tasks and provide administrative support to the Supply Chain Team.\nCoordinate communication among trade partners, field managers, estimating, and accounting for one or more supported divisions.\nCreate purchase orders as requested by the Purchasing Manager and maintain standard vendor lists for supported communities.\nEnter and maintain vendor pricing, create relevant bid items, and complete other ERP-related tasks.\nHelp Purchasing Managers keep trade partner capacity information accurate in relevant systems.\nResearch purchase order and payment information and distribute reports on weekly, monthly, quarterly, or annual schedules, as required.\nRequired Qualifications:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nAssociate or bachelor’s degree.\nExperience in the homebuilding industry.\nExperience in a role with purchasing- or procurement-related responsibilities.\nPhysical demands and work environment:\nMust be able to use sensory skills (i.e. verbal communication) to effectively communicate and interact with other Associates and customers.\nMust be able to perform repetitive motions and use fine motor skills (i.e. typing, writing) to operate office supplies (i.e. computer, calculator, copier).\nMust be able to lift and carry approximately 20-25lbs unassisted.\nMust be able to sit for long periods of time with low periods of reaching and standing.\nThe Value of a career with Fischer Homes \nFischer Homes is one of the largest and most reputable home builders in the Midwestern and Southeastern states.
