As a Pre-Litigation Attorney, you'll work directly with clients, collaborate with experienced attorneys and legal professionals, and develop the skills needed to evaluate claims, build case strategies, negotiate settlements, and prepare cases for litigation.

Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Manage a personal injury caseload from inception through pre-suit settlement or transition into litigation, with guidance and support from experienced attorneys.
- Develop strong client relationships through regular communication regarding case status, medical treatment, and the legal process.
- Evaluate liability, damages, medical treatment, insurance coverage, and other relevant case issues.
- Conduct regular case reviews, identify potential challenges, and develop appropriate strategies to move cases forward.
- Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and opposing counsel.
- Identify cases that are appropriate and ready for litigation and draft complaints to initiate lawsuits.
- Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, legal assistants, and other team members to effectively manage and advance cases.
- Participate in ongoing training, mentorship, and professional development opportunities to strengthen your legal knowledge, judgment, and advocacy skills.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school, with an anticipated graduation date in spring 2027.
- Planning to take the July 2027 Connecticut Bar Exam or otherwise pursuing admission to the Connecticut Bar.
- Strong legal research, writing, communication, and analytical skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a genuine commitment to providing exceptional client service.
- Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to effectively manage multiple priorities.
- Eagerness to learn, accept feedback, and develop strong legal and professional skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Demonstrated interest in personal injury law, litigation, or client advocacy is preferred.
Prior personal injury experience is not required.
Anticipated Start Date: Fall 2027, following the July bar exam. Admission to the Connecticut Bar will be required to practice as an attorney. Candidates awaiting admission may be considered for a law clerk position pending admission.

Compensation:
- Salary Range: $100,000 - 107,000, depending on experience.
- Additional Compensation: You will be eligible for performance-based bonuses, referral fees, and salary increases with no ceiling, and no billable-hour requirement.
