with school director\nAdhere to the school's budgetary needs\nMaintain inventory and complete weekly food and supply orders\nPrepare and cook meals according to approved menus\nEnsure food is cooked and served at the correct temperature\nMaintain a clean, sanitized and organized kitchen area\nDishwashing\nFollow food state and federal safety, sanitation and nutrition guidelines\nPerform essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation\nHelp in classrooms and other areas for short periods of time as needed\nRegular and reliable attendance\nMust have dietary allergy knowledge\nWhat You’ll Need to be Successful:\nStrong knowledge of dietary allergies and food safety regulations.\nPrevious experience in food preparation and cooking, including large volume cooking.\nProficient in various cooking techniques and methods.\nExperience with menu planning and meal preparation.\nAbility to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently, sufficient to communicate effectively with students, families, and staff.\nEffective time management and multitasking abilities.\nStrong attention to detail and organizational skills.\nPhysical ability to bend, squat, lift up to 60 pounds, and stand or walk for extended periods.\nWhat You’ll Need to Qualify\nHigh School diploma or equivalent\nCurrent SafeServe certification, or willingness to obtain\nPossess
