If you have a desire and passion to make a difference in the lives of children and parents, The Gardner School is the place for you!\nWhat You’ll Do:\nManage the School in conformance with all state and local regulations and The Gardner School policies and procedures.\n\nAdministrative duties to include opening and closing the school in the absence of the Executive School Director and Assistant School Director.\n\nPrepare and forward reports in accordance with The Gardner School policies and procedures.\n\nAssists in tracking all inquiries and converts inquiries into parent tours of the school.\n\nMaintains professional and positive relationships and communication with parents and staff.\n\nMaintains confidentiality of school directives, curriculum, and software.\n\nUtilized to provide additional classroom support during high volume times.\n\nLead and teach children through all activities of the day, assuring they have an enjoyable, well-rounded educational experience in the absences of teaching staff.\n\nEnsures that classroom and playground equipment is maintained in good repair.\n\nEnforces all safety rules and regulations with staff for the safety of the children and parents\n\nNotifies parents via telephone immediately should their child suffer any type of injury. Ensure proper documentation of accident/incident and obtain necessary signatures.\n\nDispense medication to children that have a medication authorization form.\n\nKeep fully apprised of all activities in the school.\n\nAlways represent the best interests of the children and The Gardner School.\n\nOther duties as assigned.\n\nWhat We Offer:\nCompetitive Pay: The starting salary range for this position is $37,700-$44,300 annually. Actual pay will depend on factors such as relevant experience, skills, and education.\n\nComprehensive Benefits: Health, dental, and vision insurance; paid time off; 401(k) with company match; childcare tuition discount; paid holidays; and professional development opportunities\n\nCareer Growth: Ongoing professional development and training, opportunities for advancement within our growing organization, and a supportive, mission-driven culture.\n\nMinimum Qualifications\nEducation\nBachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Education Administration, or a related field.\n\nMust meet state licensing requirements for Assistant Director qualifications (education and experience)\n\nExperience\nMinimum 2 year of experience in a licensed child development program, with at least 1 year as a teacher or supervising a childcare program.
