Cultivate well-being\nWe have an exciting opportunity for a Student Learning Supervisor to join our team of talented professionals.\nThe Supervisor of Student Learning within the Center for Excellence (CFE) supports the implementation, coordination, and evaluation of student learning, internships, and practicums across the organization. The Supervisor works closely with Center for Excellence leadership, clinical Directors, and program staff to coordinate student placements, facilitate training activities, monitor program outcomes, and ensure a high-quality learning experience for students and interns.\nRegular working hours are 37.5 hours per week (75 hours in a two-week pay period), to be scheduled between Monday-Friday, 8:30-5:00. Regular on-site work days required.\nSpecific responsibilities include:\nCoordinate day-to-day operations of the organization’s internship and student learning programs, including student onboarding, placement activities, and communication with academic partners. \nSupport the development and maintenance of relationships with colleges, universities, and training programs. \nAssist with recruitment, engagement, and retention of bachelor’s, master’s, doctoral, and residency-level student learners. \nComplete learning plans, evaluations, and other required paperwork for student learners.\nImplement student learning curricula and learning activities developed by the department. \nProvide oversight and support for intern onboarding, orientation, and learning experiences. \nOversight of internal task supervisor recruitment, training, and ongoing support to ensure unit-based student learning.\nCollaborate with the CFE Training Team and other staff to coordinate training opportunities and educational events. \nTrack participation, outcomes, and program metrics and prepare reports for leadership review. \nRepresent the department at internal meetings and selected community or academic partnership meetings as assigned. \nAssist with continuous quality improvement activities related to student learning and workforce development initiatives. \nComplete 25 hours of program- or position-specific training annually.\nOther duties that support student learning as assigned by Program Director or Designee.\nRequirements\nTo qualify for this position, you must have:\nFull licensure in master's level social work, with the ability to provide clinical supervision is required. All state licensure must continually remain active, in effect, and free from disciplinary action. \nStrong working knowledge of public mental health services, clinical licensure requirements, and scope of professional practice is required. \nMinimum two years of experience in supervisory role in behavioral health, education, or a related field required. \nMust have experience providing mental health treatment services to adults and children with severe mental illness and at least one-year of experience treating or working with individuals with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities. \nCandidates must obtain the Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) and Children’s Mental Health Professional (CMHP) and Qualified Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Professional (QIDP) credential within 120 days of hire. \nThe successful candidate will also possess knowledge of staff development and coaching principles, demonstrated ability to collaborate with internal departments and external partners, and proven ability to support student learning initiatives. \nCurrent valid driver's license required. \nStrong organizational, communication, and Microsoft Office skills required. \nAdditional requirements include cultural humility and sensitivity to the diverse needs and experiences of clients, families, coworkers, and the programs they represent.\nThe Guidance Center believes that our team members are our most valuable resources, and we invest in them accordingly.
