You will lead assigned production teams, strengthen Hershey Lean ways of working, and partner across the plant to improve performance in the Sweetest Place on Earth.\n\nWhat will you do?\nLead day-to-day production execution to achieve volume and product-mix plans while improving efficiency, OEE2, waste, rework, and overweight performance. \nChampion environmental, health, and safety requirements and reinforce a prevention-focused culture across assigned production areas. \nEnsure adherence to quality, food-safety, sanitation, and standard operating procedures; identify and correct deviations promptly. \nLead assigned union production employees, including staffing, time and attendance administration, training, operational discipline, and employee development. \nEnsure end-of-shift production information is complete and accurate, including finished product, rework, waste, returns, material requirements, overweight, and downtime data. \nApply Hershey Lean practices, including CIL, centerlines, defect handling, and the Autonomous Maintenance pillar, and participate in safety, quality, efficiency, and productivity improvements. \nCollaborate with Warehouse, Maintenance, Sanitation, Quality, Planning, Finance, EHS, Engineering, Operational Excellence, Human Resources, corporate teams, and suppliers as applicable. \nMinimum Requirements\nExperience: 2+ years as a supervisor or team leader in a manufacturing production environment. Experience in manufacturing support functions such as Quality, Maintenance, Warehouse, or Operational Excellence is preferred.\nEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field. Intermediate English proficiency.\nKnowledge and Skills: Working knowledge of manufacturing systems or methods such as TPM, Lean Management, or Six Sigma; Good Manufacturing Practices; HACCP; industrial safety; and union workforce administration.
