This position develops and executes procurement strategies that accelerate growth, improve bottom line costs and drive cash flow while delivering sustainability objectives and risk management outcomes. Through strong relationships and leadership of a high-performing team, the individual will deliver topline and bottom-line objectives which provide a competitive edge.\nAccountabilities\nDrive category management, negotiation and contract strategies, supplier relationship management, commodity management, physical supply continuity, sustainability and quality\nExecute sustainability strategies which turn Hershey commitments into action across areas such as packaging, environment and regenerative agricultural \nPartner with executive leadership to drive commercial strategies and business resiliency to achieve sustainable topline and bottom-line results\nLead strategy development and long-range procurement planning \nProgress digital and technology implementation plans and adoption to unlock efficiency and incremental value creation opportunities\nDevelop risk management strategies to reduce volatility, ensure predictability and mitigate supply risks\nDevelop and coach a team of ~35 to enhance organization capabilities, talent succession plans and leadership development\nEnsure robust governance, compliance and procurement policy adherence\nPrior Experience\nEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Packaging, Engineering or a related field. Master’s degree or MBA is preferred.\nExperience: 10-15 years of experience in Procurement and a minimum of 7 years in a leadership role within the CPG industry.
