This is a build-oriented role: you’ll take on new cleaning jobs from initial\nevaluation through qualified production, and help shape how our shield cleaning capability\ngrows to meet demand.\nYou’ll be a key technical resource for customers, sales, and operations on shield cleaning\nprocess and capability and part of the team driving how our production lines expand.\nDuties & Responsibilities (Essential Functions)\nDaily Production Support\nProvide day-to-day engineering support to production to ensure safety, quality, and on-\ntime delivery of shield cleaning orders\nBe the technical resource the floor escalates to when a process issue comes up\nNew Process Introduction (Quote to Production)\nEvaluate incoming quote requests to determine whether we have the capability to\nperform a given clean, and what it would take if we don't\nBuild out the actual cleaning process for new jobs: chemistry, cycle, equipment,\nvalidation. From initial evaluation through qualified production\nOwn the technical conversation with customers on cleaning capability and\nrequirements.\nCapability & Capacity Expansion\nHelp design new shield cleaning production lines as we expand capacity including\nequipment selection, layout, process design\nSupport installation of new equipment and analytical instruments; lead qualification\nHelp drive our Shield Cleaning capability roadmap forward, closing gaps between\ncurrent and target capability\nContribute to active capability projects (clean room expansion and related initiatives)\nProcess Ownership & Standardization\nOwn process control, SPC monitoring, and control plans for Shield Cleaning, spanning\nprecision cleaning and surface enhancement processes\nLead risk mitigation through FMEA\nBuild out routings, work instructions, and standard operations, reducing reliance on\ntribal knowledge\nWrite and maintain SOPs; train operations on new and changed processes\nTechnical Leadership\nServe as a senior technical resource on shield cleaning process and chemistry, working\nalongside other process engineering team members\nMentor and guide less experienced engineers on shield cleaning-specific process\nknowledge\nPartner with quality, operations, and customers on process performance and\nqualifications\nRequired Qualifications\n8 years of process engineering experience, ideally with precision cleaning, metal\nfinishing, or chemical process background.\nStrong grasp of chemical solutions and their interaction with metals; contamination\ncontrol and cleanroom fundamentals\nExperience taking a process from evaluation/quoting through qualified production\nBachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Materials Science, or related preferred)\nExperience with ISO 9001 systems a plus\nCompensation & Benefits\nTarget base salary: $80K - $110K\nAnnual bonus target: 10% of base salary\nComprehensive benefits package\nAdditional Details\nLocation: onsite, Dallas, Texas\nDepartment: Engineering\nReports To: Director of Engineering Eligible for Commissions?
