We have domestic ammunition manufacturing facilities in Minnesota, Idaho, Arkansas, and Missouri, and service law enforcement, government agencies and sporting enthusiasts throughout the world. Today, The Kinetic Group is a part of the Ammo+ division of The Czechoslovak Group (CSG), which holds a diverse portfolio of companies in the defense, security, automotive, aerospace and rail industries.\nThe Production Supervisor provides hands-on leadership to production employees, ensuring safety, quality, productivity, and efficiency goals are achieved while fostering a positive and engaged work environment.\nThis position reports to the Plant Manager and is based out of our Ozark location.\nWhat you’ll do:\nSupervise all personnel and operations within assigned department/s.\nMaintain a safe work environment.\nComplete facility walk throughs and report issues and concerns\nWork with other shift supervisors and members of management to ensure smooth operations.\nIdentify, resolve, and mediate employee issues\nBuild and cultivate employee teams\nUnderstand and meet/exceed set departmental production and efficiency targets.\nComplete production reporting paperwork and other reporting as required.\nIdentify, resolve, and report machine and process issues.\nIdentify, resolve, and report employee safety issues or concerns\nDevelop, train, mentor, motivate and evaluate all direct reports.\nResolve conflicts and issues in a professional, respectful manner.\nEnsure that all company policies, rules, and regulations are being adhered to.\nMaintain thorough understanding of machine operations and aid in machine set-ups and troubleshooting when necessary.\nDaily communications with peers and management on the pulse of the department.\nPossible use of firearms for quality control testing purposes.\nExperience you bring:\nBachelor’s degree preferred\n5-7 years previous supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment required\nStrong verbal and written communication skills\nMust be fluent in Microsoft Office with emphasis on Excel, Teams, out Outlook\nAble to learn new processes and implement efficiently\nStrong interpersonal interaction skills\nAbility to lead and supervise a diverse team\nAble to work independently\nComputer proficiency and experience\nAble to work when needed\nWork Environment:\nEmployee work assignments may include tasks working with and/or exposure to potentially hazardous areas, including flammables and explosives.
