You will work on equipment upgrades, facility modifications, and new installations across our state-of-the-art production facility.\nThis is a hands-on engineering role that combines project management, engineering design, supplier coordination, and commissioning activities. You will collaborate closely with operations, maintenance teams, contractors, and equipment suppliers to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and according to the highest technical standards\nKey Responsibilities\nProject Development & Engineering\nTranslate operational and business needs into technical concepts and project scopes.\nDevelop engineering designs, technical specifications, layouts, P&IDs, and engineering documentation.\nSelect and specify mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and control equipment.\nCoordinate multidisciplinary engineering activities to ensure fully integrated solutions.\nProject Management\nManage projects from initiation to commissioning.\nCoordinate contractors, suppliers, and system integrators.\nMonitor scope, budget, timelines, and project risks.\nProvide regular project progress reporting.\nAutomation & Control Systems\nCollaborate with automation and controls specialists on PLC and SCADA modifications.\nReview, test, and validate control system changes and integration activities.\nExecution & Commissioning\nSupport procurement, installation, inspections, FAT/SAT testing, and commissioning activities.\nTroubleshoot technical issues and support performance optimization.\nEnsure complete project documentation and successful handover.\nMaintenance & Operational Support\nEnsure new assets are correctly implemented within the CMMS system.\nSupport maintenance teams with training and technical documentation.\nContribute to continuous improvement initiatives and future operational support.\nSafety & Compliance\nEnsure all engineering activities comply with HSE requirements, applicable legislation, company standards, and engineering best practices.\nPromote safe, reliable, and maintainable engineering solutions throughout the project lifecycle\nWhat are we looking for?\nQualifications\nBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical discipline.\nMinimum of 5 years of experience in project engineering, engineering design, or industrial project delivery.\nProven experience managing projects from concept through commissioning.\nExperience within industrial, manufacturing, utility, process, food, or similar technical environments.\nStrong communication and stakeholder management skills.\nFluent in English; Dutch is considered an advantage.
