We offer a unique, fun environment with the opportunity to grow within the company.\nResponsibilities\nAbility to prepare food to the exact specifications of the chef; dedicated to creating well-executed and delicious food.\nAble to work quickly while implementing set standards including abiding by quality, portion control, and presentation expectations.\nPrepare for food service; clean and chop food, set up and stock stations.\nComply with sanitation regulations and safety standards.\nStrong work ethic and attention to cleanliness are a must. Keen attention to detail. Assist with cleaning and stocking. Open and close the restaurant and perform related work as requested.\nAbility to perform objectives in a timely and efficient manner with a focus on quality while always maintaining a positive and professional approach with coworkers.\nPromote and embrace the restaurant’s community and culture by demonstrating respect, positive energy, dependability, honesty, initiative, outgoing nature, and a pleasant, professional appearance.\nSupport the restaurant's vision and responsibility of being eco-conscious.\nAssist the team as needed. Perform related work as requested; model and promote teamwork.\nQualifications\nA culinary degree or comparable experience. Minimum of 1 year experience cooking on a line.\nExcellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures. Passionate about quality local foods and the standards by which it is served.\nSuperior temperament, adaptable nature, and good communication skills. Able to work well in a high-pressure, fast-paced work environment.\nDemonstrate integrity in all areas, both personal and professional. \nMust be able to operate effectively as part of a team and communicate clearly.\nThe ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.\nMust be at least 18 years of age. \nWorking Conditions\nAbility to perform all functions at the restaurant level.\nWorking with hot, cold, and potentially hazardous equipment as well as operating office equipment.\nRegularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear and taste or smell.
