production and facility equipment to ensure maximum efficiency and effectiveness.\nComplete assigned work orders.\nMaintain maintenance area in a clean and orderly fashion.\nUtilize maintenance systems as necessary to complete daily, weekly, monthly duties.\nOperate material handling equipment safely.\nEnter information in the systems to document work order completion.\nProvide support to team in the predictive and preventative maintenance program.\nParticipate and actively support all plant initiatives.\nOrganize and define tasks with minimal supervision.\nFollow established programs, policies and practices to produce safe quality foods that meet regulatory and company requirements.\nSupport the development, implementation, maintenance, and ongoing improvement of the SQF 2000 Systems.\nAccountable to the Kroger Manufacturing Food Safety and Quality Principles.\nMust be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.\n 2+ years maintenance mechanic experience\nMust be at least 18 years of age\nHigh School Diploma or GED\nProficient knowledge and ability in welding, as well as electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems\nStrong attention to detail with high degree of accuracy and precision\nEffective verbal and written communication skills\nStrong planning, prioritization, and organizational skills\nAbility to meet deadlines with limited supervision\nBasic computer use knowledge and skills\nSelf-motivated and self-directed\nFlexible to work any shift as
