We are an integral part of the community, providing much needed support for families, schools, and children.\nWhat are the hours like?\nThis is a part-time position.\nApply today to discuss if there’s a schedule that can work for you!\nWhat do we offer?\nPay Range starts at $19.00 per hour\nOur Part-Time positions also include:\nBenefits, including\nDental Insurance\nPet Insurance\nRetirement savings (403(b))\n529 Savings Plan\nTuition reimbursement\n\nWhat are the duties and responsibilities?\nProvides parent education, developmental information and family support to parents through personal home visits.\nPromote the healthy development of children from pregnancy to kindergarten.\nUtilize the nationally recognized \"Parents as Teachers\" curriculum to deliver quality home-based early childhood education, developmentally age-appropriate resources and effective child-parent interaction techniques\nConduct child developmental screenings including vision, hearing, the understanding and use of language, motor development, hand-eye coordination, and health and physical development.\nCollaborating with other Child Care Staff to plan and execute fun, engaging, and age-appropriate activities for the children in the classroom and on the playground;\nCaring for vulnerable young children when preparing snacks/meals, changing diapers, cleaning and supervising;\nSafeguarding each child when cleaning the classroom, adhering to the safety and security regulations you learn through our employee development training.\nWhat are the required qualifications?\nMUST have a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Psychology, Social services or other related field.\nPrevious experience with children, and this does not have to be in a childcare center! Are you a parent? Have you volunteered with children before? Are you a former or retired teacher? All of these are examples of some of the many ways our staff have experience with children.\nOther:\nAppropriate clearances and trainings: PA State Criminal History Record, Child Abuse Report, FBI Criminal History Report, NSOR clearance, and Mandated Reporter Training.
