The intern will assist the Acquisitions team with a wide-range of responsibilities during the program. The internship will appeal to proactive and self-motivated students with a genuine desire to learn about the institutional real estate business and industry. During the program, you will work on real projects and have real responsibilities! Michaels aims to help candidates build strengths, gain skills that can be transferred to any workplace, and stand out from the crowd!\nWork Schedule:\nMonday through Friday from 9 AM - 5 PM for a total of 35 hours\nBased out of our Camden, NJ headquarters (5x a week)\nHighlights of the Internship include:\nCollaborate with other interns from various disciplines and universities.\nLearn from seasoned professionals and leaders within the real estate sector.\nParticipate in company-wide and departmental meetings, social events, and professional networking opportunities.\nGain exposure to other departments, including property management, construction, and acquisitions.\nDevelop valuable skills such as business acumen, quantitative analysis, and presentation abilities.\nWork closely with senior leadership within the Acquisitions team, gaining unique insights and experience.\nResponsibilities\nSupport the Acquisitions team by maintaining pipeline management software.\nPrepare underwriting Excel models and analyze source documents.\nAssist in the preparation of debt and equity offering presentations.\nConduct thorough market research to inform decision-making. \nCLICK HERE to hear from last years' interns on their experiences!\nQualifications\nPursuing degree in Real Estate Development, Finance, Economics or Urban Planning\nSalary Range Information\nThe range displayed on each job posting reflects the targeted base salary for the position.
