The intern will support the IT department with project assignments, hands-on learning opportunities, and instruction designed to provide exposure to the daily operations of an IT department. The intern will work alongside IT professionals, gain practical experience, and develop a broader understanding of how technology supports business operations. This internship will appeal to proactive and self-motivated students with a genuine desire to learn about the real estate business and industry. Michaels aims to help candidates build strengths, gain transferable skills, and stand out from the crowd!\nWork Schedule:\nMonday through Friday from 9 AM - 5 PM for a total of 35 hours\nBased out of our Camden, NJ headquarters (5x a week)\nHighlights of the IT internship include:\nWorking alongside other interns and recent college graduates \nLearning from our more experienced team members and best-in-class leaders in the real estate accounting community \nParticipating in company-wide and departmental meetings and events, as well as a variety of social, professional, and networking opportunities. \nExploring different areas of information technology, including technical support, cybersecurity, enterprise systems, and IT operations.\nContributing to meaningful projects and initiatives that support the department and the organization.\nResponsibilities\nAssist with general administrative tasks, documentation, data entry, and recordkeeping within the IT Department.\nSupport IT team members with various projects and assignments related to technology, systems, equipment, and business operations.\nParticipate in instructional sessions and hands-on learning opportunities to gain knowledge of IT systems, processes, security practices, and technical support.\nAssist with organizing, tracking, and maintaining technology equipment, inventory, and related records.\nParticipate in the daily operations of the IT department and assist with additional tasks and projects as assigned. \nCLICK HERE to hear from last year's interns on their experiences!\nQualifications\nMust be a current college student, preferably pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related field.\nAbility to work collaboratively with others and maintain a professional demeanor.\nDemonstrate a genuine interest in technology and a willingness to learn new skills.\nGood organizational skills and attention to detail.\nAbility to follow instructions, ask questions, and approach tasks with curiosity and a problem-solving mindset.\nBasic familiarity with computers and common productivity applications.\nAbility to handle company information responsibly and maintain confidentiality.\nSalary Range Information\nThe range displayed on each job posting reflects the targeted base salary for the position.
