Walton School of Medicine (AWSOM) is seeking experienced, motivated, and dedicated leaders and educators to participate in the design and delivery of an innovative four-year medical school curriculum that engages medical students in active and novel learning.\nJob Description:\nTheProgram Coordinator, Medical Education will have a unique opportunity to work with the Medical Education team to build a free-standing degree-granting medical school in Northwest Arkansas.\nThe Program Coordinator, Medical Education will proactively and continuously manage and support programs, projects, and processes in developing and rolling out the ARCHES curriculum and effectively implement solutions to improve the projects and processes. The Program Coordinator will providesupport and implement key strategies for strategic initiatives and stay current and abreast of relevant literature in medical education. The Program Coordinator will work closely with key stakeholders, including but not limited to accreditation agencies, the Heartland Whole Health Institute, local health systems, other schools of medicine, and deans from local, regional, and national schools of medicine to cultivate relationships and implement collaborative practices.\nWe are building a workplace and learning climate where inclusive excellence and whole health principles are inextricable parts of our culture and practices. and manage daily needs for work unit as listed by manager and for program success.\nDevelop and recommend processes and coordinate new ideas and improvements.\nContribute to ongoing accreditation efforts with the Liaison Committee on Medical Education and the Higher Learning Commission.\nCoordinate and nurture relationships with remote and in-person partners.\nAssist with the implementation of instructional technologies such as, but not limited to, ScholarRx, Canvas, One45, and Examsoft.\nEffectively anticipate and respond to needs and requests, both internal and external.\nArchive/Document seminal events in the building of the SOM.\nManage projects that require excellent multitasking, organization skills, and attention to detail.\nOrganize and coordinate new ideas and programming.\nOther duties as assigned.\nMinimum Education\nBachelor’s Degree\nMinimum Work Experiences and Qualifications\n3-5 years of administrative experience.\nExperience in process improvement and project management\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills\nStrong interpersonal skills\nStrong time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines\nStrong problem-solving skills\nAbility to prioritize tasks and delegate when appropriate\nProficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Zoom, Instructional Technologies and ability to learn new software applications\nStrong commitment to self-care\nPreferred Work Experiences and Qualifications\nExperience in higher education, medical education, and/or healthcare with an emphasis on program development\nStrong editing and
