Safety-focused, the Project Engineer will be responsible for delivering projects that improve reliability, efficiency, sustainability, and production performance within a complex potash mining operation. The Engineer possesses the technical expertise, leadership capability, and business acumen necessary to successfully manage projects from concept through commissioning while building strong relationships with operations and maintenance stakeholder teams and contractors.\nWhat you’ll do?\nLead the execution and delivery of projects, ensuring alignment with defined scope, schedule, budget, quality, safety, and operational objectives.\nManage projects through all phases of Mosaic's Capital Project Management (CPM) process (project initiation and business case development, scope definition and stakeholder alignment, Front-End Loading (FEL), preliminary and detailed engineering, development of engineering and construction work packages, procurement and contract administration, capital authorization and cost control, construction management and field execution, and commissioning, start-up, handover, and project closeout)\nProvide leadership and oversight to multidisciplinary project teams, engineering consultants, contractors, and external service providers to ensure safe and efficient project delivery.\nDevelop and maintain project execution plans, schedules, risk registers, cost forecasts, and performance metrics to proactively manage project outcomes.\nPrepare and present project updates, key performance indicators, risk assessments, and strategic recommendations to site leadership and senior management.\nPartner with operations, maintenance, engineering, reliability, and production teams to identify, prioritize, and execute projects that improve safety, reliability, production capacity, operational efficiency, and asset performance.\nChampion a strong safety culture by ensuring all project activities are planned and executed in accordance with site safety standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.\nProvide mentorship, coaching, and technical guidance to junior engineers and project team members, fostering professional development and strengthening organizational capability (dependent on Project Engineer Level).\nDrive continuous improvement by incorporating lessons learned, best practices, and innovative solutions into project planning and execution.\nWhat You'll Bring\nBachelor's degree in Engineering required.\nEngineer II\n2+ years of engineering experience.\nEngineer III\n4+ years of engineering experience.\nEngineer Senior\n8+ years of engineering experience.\nRequired for ALL Levels:\nProven leadership experience with the ability to influence, motivate, and coordinate multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and stakeholders to achieve project objectives safely and effectively.\nStrong engineering and project delivery experience within a large industrial, mining, manufacturing, or heavy-process environment.\nExcellent verbal, written, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization, from frontline personnel to senior leadership.\nStrong planning, organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience managing capital, sustaining, or operational improvement projects within an active processing facility, mining operation, or brownfield environment.\nBroad understanding of engineering and construction principles across multiple disciplines, including civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and process engineering.\nKnowledge of project management methodologies, stage-gate project delivery systems, risk management practices, and cost and schedule controls.\nProfessional designation form PMI (PMP) an
