They produce air, liquid, and specialty filtration products used in HVAC and dust collection, industrial paint overspray capture, medical and consumer goods, and geotextiles. Backed by a growing parent organization and continued investment, they're building out a skilled maintenance team to keep their production lines running at their best.\nTHE ROLE\nAs a Maintenance Mechanic, you'll keep a wide range of specialized production equipment running safely and efficiently. This is a hands-on role for someone who likes variety, enjoys diagnosing problems, and takes pride in fixing things right the first time.\nEQUIPMENT YOU'LL WORK ON\n- Fiber opening, blending, and web-forming equipment, including air-lay machines, garnetts, and carding lines (in-line and cross-lapped)\n- Bonding and processing lines, including thermal bonding ovens, resin bonding (spray and dip-and-dry) systems, and needle-punch looms\n- Multi-feed fiber blending systems\n- Chain, belt/tread, and roller conveyors, along with gearboxes, bearings, pumps, and drives\nWHAT YOU'LL DO\n- Complete scheduled preventive maintenance: inspecting, cleaning, calibrating, and lubricating plant equipment\n- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical failures, replacing belts, chains, seals, and bearings\n- Maintain and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including valves, lines, and pressure checks\n- Support basic electrical troubleshooting as you grow in this area, with opportunities to learn three-phase motors, contactors, and PLC fault finding on the job\n- Weld, cut, and fabricate guards, brackets, and simple structural parts\n- Document repairs, parts usage, and equipment history in a CMMS\n- Follow Lockout/Tagout procedures and all plant safety rules while working around heavy industrial equipment\nWHAT YOU BRING\n- 1-3 years of industrial maintenance mechanic experience, ideally in manufacturing\n- Strong mechanical aptitude with power transmission components (bearings, gearboxes, chains, belts)\n- Working knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics\n- Basic welding and fabrication skills\n- Electrical experience is a plus but not required.
